一. 课程性质

语言是人类最重要的思维和交流工具,也是人们参加社会活动的重要条件。语言对促进人的全面发展具有重要意义。当今社会生活和经济活动日益全球化,外国语已经成为世界各国公民必备的基本素质之一。因此,学习和掌握外语,特别是英语,具有重要意义。

高中英语课程是普通高中的一门主要课程。高中学生学习外语,一方面可以促进心智,情感,态度与价值观的发展和综合人文素养的提高;另一方面,掌握一门国际通用语种可以为学习国外先进的文化,科学技术和进行国际交往创造条件。开设英语课程有利于提高民族素质,有利于我国对外开放和国际交流,有利于增强我国的综合国力。

二. 课程目标

通过高中英语课程的学习使学生在义务教育阶段英语学习的基础上,进一步明确英语学习的目的,发展自主学习和合作学习的能力;形成有效的英语学习策略;培养学生的综合语言运用能力。并在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息,处理信息,分析问题和解决问题的能力,注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力;形成跨文化交际的意识和基本的跨文化交际能力;进一步拓宽国际视野,增强爱国主义精神和民族使命感,形成健全的情感,态度,价值观,为未来发展和终身学习奠定良好的基础。

1. 语言技能

包括听,说,读,写四种技能以及这四种技能的综合运用能力。高中英语课程着重培养学生在人际交往中得体使用英语的能力;用英语获取和处理信息的能力;用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力以及批判性思维能力。

2. 语言知识

包括语音,词汇,语法,功能和话题等五个方面的内容。

3. 情感态度

包括兴趣,动机,自信,意志和合作精神等影响学生学习过程和学习效果的相关因素,以及在学习过程中逐渐形成的祖国意识和国际视野。教师应引导学生将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机,以使他们树立较强的自信心,形成克服困难的意志,乐于与他人合作,养成和谐与健康向上的品格。通过英语课程使学生增强爱国主义意识,拓展国际视野。

4. 学习策略

指学生为了有效地学习语言和使用语言而采取的各种行动和步骤, 包括认知策略,调控策略,交际策略和资源策略等。高中学生应积极利用多种渠道使用英语,学会独立地获取信息和资料,并能加以整理,分析,归纳和总结,形成适合自己学习需要的英语学习策略。

5. 文化意识

包括英语国家的历史,地理,风土人情,传统习惯,生活方式,文学艺术,行为规范和价值观念等。高中英语课程要扩大学生接触异国文化的范围,帮助学生拓展视野,使他们提高

对中外文化异同的敏感性和鉴别能力,为发展他们的跨文化交际能力打下良好的基础。

三. 课程结构

1. 必修课程

共五个模块(1~5),需用5个学段(每学期分上下两个学段)完成。每周4学时,学完每个模块,通过考查,可获2学分。学完5个模块,通过考查,可获10学分,达到中学英语七级。高中毕业的英语要求不能低于七级,学生应达到的语言知识和技能水平为:

(1)在实际交际中逐步做到语音、语调自然、得体、流畅;在交际中能根据语音、语调了解和表达隐含的意图和态度;初步了解诗歌中的节奏和韵律;根据语音辨别和书写不太熟悉的单词或简单语句。

(2)运用词汇理解和表达不同的功能、意图和态度等;运用词汇描述比较复杂的事物、行为和特征,说明概念等;学会使用3000个单词和400~500个习惯用语或固定搭配。

(3)进一步掌握描述时间、地点、方位的表达方式;进一步理解、掌握比较人、物体及事物的表达方式;使用适当的语言形式进行描述和表达观点、态度、情感等;学习、掌握基本语篇知识并根据特定目的有效地组织信息;能写出300字左右的读书报告和命题作文。

(4)在语言运用中能恰当理解和表达问候、告别、感谢、介绍等交际功能;在日常人际交

往中有效地使用得体的语言进行表达,如发表意见、进行判断、责备、投诉、辩论等;灵活运用已经学过的常用功能项目,进一步学习并掌握新的语言功能项目。

(5)有较强的自学能力;能初步使用英汉词典和英英字典。能借助字典读懂一般的原文小说、报刊和杂志。

2. 选修课程

(1)选修课程系列Ⅰ

共6个模块(6~11),6~8模块需用3个学段完成。每周4学时,学完每个模块,通过考查,可获2学分。学完3个模块并通过考查可获6学分,达到中学英语八级。所有学生都需要参加该阶段的学习。英语八级的学习内容和要求与高考要求相当,学生应达到的语言知识和技能水平为:【圣教小品剧本:耶稣诞生记】

① 初级英语听说

教学目的:

A. 为了提高学生的听力水平,更好地从初中学习过渡到高中阶段。

B. 增加学生各领域的词汇量,尤其是口语中的俚语和习语的运用。

教学内容:本课程每单元围绕一个核心话题,内容涵盖了人文类,社科类和科普类等日常生活中各方面的话题,熔知识性与可思性,系统性与灵活性,可接受性与前瞻性于一体。 评价方法和要求:学生通过本课程的学习能够:

A.阅读并找出各种事件发生的日期等有关数字信息。

B.阅读并选择某个问题的正确答案。

C.阅读并概括从事某活动的主要理由。

D.阅读并确定自己是否同意作者的观点。

E.阅读并对某事件作出归纳和解释。

整个课程共需用36个课时,分四个学段开设,通过学习和考核后可获得2个学分。 ③ 英文写作

教学目的:英语写作是学生进行书面交际的主要途径,与口语交际有很大差异。不同文体有不同的表达手法和格式;谋篇布局,迁辞造句也不尽相同。因此,该课程为培养学生的英语写作能力而开设。

教学内容和要求:本课程选用《中学英语写作教程》为教材,介绍各种常见英语文体的写作方法,并结合历年高考英语写作题进行教学。学习写作方法与作品分析点评相结合,运用实例传授要领。要求学生掌握基本句型和具备一定的词汇运用能力。

整个课程共需用18个课时,分两个学段开设,通过学习和考核后可获得1个学分。 ④ 词汇技能

教学目的:该选修课程主要选取高中阶段英语学习中的热点同义词或短语进行辨析,介绍基本的构词法知识,意在帮助学生进行归纳和总结,深化词汇理解,提高词汇运用能力。 教学内容和要求:该课程选用《中学英语常用词语辨析》一书,配以历年高考英语试卷中的有关题目进行分析,讲解,启迪思维,化知识为能力。要求学生掌握3000-3500个基本词汇,700条以上词组,短语。

构词法知识的介绍结合教材中的相关内容,进行适当归纳和拓宽,材料自编。

整个课程共需用18个课时,分两个学段开设,通过学习和考核后可获得1个学分。 ⑤ 英语语法与修辞

教学目的:帮助学生建构完整的语法体系;通过听说读写等课堂活动形式,寓语法教学于交际活动之中,发展学生智力,激发学习兴趣;学习外语语法和修辞是为培养外语运用能力而服务的,是为了帮助学习者利用语言知识,提高外语的听、说、读、写能力。

3.校本课程

(1)英语文学欣赏入门

教学目的: 为学生们提供一些英国及美国文学史上的名家, 名篇的介绍。通过这些著名作家的生平, 经历, 学生们可以了解他们的作品,创作的背景, 动机, 也可以从另一角度对英, 美两国的文化历史有更深入的了解。除此之外, 英美文学简史这门课程的开设也将提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。

教学内容: 英国文学的部分以中古以后的英国文学为范围, 从十六世纪英国文艺复兴时期起至二十世纪二十年代的现代派文学止。作品种类包括: 民谣, 诗剧, 随笔小品, 文论, 游记, 传记, 历史, 小说, 剧本等; 美国文学比较偏重十九世纪以后的作家及作品, 作品内容以小说及作者自传为主,诗歌为辅。

评价方法和要求:

A.要求学生了解各个作家的生平以及其比较有代表性的作品, 写作风格。

B.要求学生理解课文中所讲解的名篇。

C.要求学生熟记一些名篇中的名句。

(2)英语影视欣赏入门

教学目的:培养学生的文化意识, 提高艺术及哲学审美修养;激发学生学习英语的热情,通过观看并赏析英语经典影片培养听说能力;通过对经典影片的赏析,帮助学生了解西方文化背景下的风土人情、语言习惯、思维方式等,培养人文情怀;帮助学生学习并了解西方文学文化渊源,进一步提高语言学习的感悟能力。
