THE MONKEY AND THE CROCODILE One day a little monkey was playing in a tall tree by the river. A crocodile was swimming slowly near the bank with her baby. She looked around for some food. Suddenly she saw the monkey. "Aha, there"s my meal," she thought. She then turn to her son, "Do you love me, Son?" "Why, of course, Mum!" the baby crocodile said. "Well then, you catch the monkey and give me his heart to eat." "But how can I?" the baby crocodile asked. "Monkeys can"t swim, and I can"t climb trees." "You needn"t climb the tree," his mother said. "Use your head, then you will find a way." The baby crocodile thought hard. Then he had an idea. He swam near the tree and shouted, "Hey, Monkey! Would you like some bananas?" "Bananas! Mm! I love them," said the monkey. "But where are they?" "On the other side of the river. There are some banana trees there, and they have lots of bananas on them. I"ll take you there on my back." "Good," the monkey came down and jumped onto the crocodile"s back. Soon they were in the middle of the river. Suddenly the crocodile went down under the water. When he came up again, the monkey was all wet. "Don"t do that!" The monkey cried. "Don"t do that again! Thank you very much!” The monkey jumps onto the crocodile’s back.They swim to the other side of the river. In the middle of the river the crocodile dives into the water. When he comes up again, the monkey was wet all over. “Don’t do that again!” The monkey shouts. The crocodile answers, “Because my mother wants to eat your heart.” The monkey is very scared but he says, “Oh, I’m so sorry! I don’t bring my heart. My heart is left at home and we must go back!” The crocodile swims back to the river side with monkey. As soon as they get to the bank, the monkey picks up a big stone and climbs up onto the tree quickly. He shouts at the crocodile. “ Do you want my heart? Well, catch!” The monkey throws the big stone at the crocodile.

He wrestles for fun and for money. People come from all over the world to watch Dude wrestles in the muddy water of "the outback" with some of the world"s most ferocious animals. The alligator in his neck of the woods know Dude and are always ready for a fight when he comes hunting. When he spots a large, adult male he slowly approaches. The alligator snaps once of twice. Dude dives on top of the alligator. If he can get on top of the alligator, he has less of a chance of getting snatched up in the reptiles giant jaws. Once on top, Dude gets the gator in a headlock until he is able to force its mouth shut. Once he has done that, the fight is almost over. Finally, Dude gives the gator one swift kick to the stomach. This is the softest part of the animal, causing the gator to give up the fight.
