Good evening! I am very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. First, please permit me introduce myself to all of you. My name is … Today my topic is “My University”. I hope you will like it.Now let’s begin.

First, I will talk something about my university. My university, -Henan Polytechnic University has a long and honor history. Our campus is so beautiful and when I stepped on the campus of Our university, seeing the sunshine sprinkling over the teaching buildings, my stage I know, is here!

It was the first time that I went into HPU, I felt he is so young ,so living and kicking, just as we are! It was the first time that I was attracted in class by my teachers, and my English teacher in particularly, who, you know, is just like our old friend, funny, soft , considerate and trying to make us more comfortable! It was the first time that I made friends here, we have a little in common, thus we all head for the same destination, we all make progress every day! it was the first time that I participated in activities here, I was terribly excited, feeling being young is so wonderful!!

Actually， my life in university is substantial. I tried to study harder and took more active part in activities at school to enrich my life and myself. There is an old saying "where there is a will, there is a way." I think my dream can come true. Now in the university I mature, and in the university I prepare for the real world. My university, my dream. I believe that I can fly at the height of dream.

HPU ---the first step in my future career!

I enjoy my stay here, and meanwhile, I know, being young, HPU is till developing every second, every minute, every hour, and every day!

However,when I entered senior high school,I lost myself and forgot my dream.As a student,I was supported to study hard,but I indulged myself in surfing the internet.I hadn't even mentioned my dream before my mom asked me with anger whether I would stick to my dream.I felt very guilty ,and still remembered the look of my mom.I must insist on my

dream,never give up.I'm sure I can do myself well.

Once going on the wrong road,you may not do youself well.Now ,would you still think my dream is very easy to come true?

MY YOUTH ,MY DREAM No young man believes he shall ever die. There is a feeling of Eternity in youth, which makes us amend for everying.To be young to be as one of the Immortal Gods. Therefore realize the importance of holding to your dream until it becomes a reality . Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkles within your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it. Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catch the star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny's path. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

Take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true. - So don't think that you are neglected, or not understood, or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure. Don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. You know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. So, what should we do? Here ,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves

First of all, recognize the direction of your future. In other word, think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of thinking big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future

What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’ll broaden your horizon.

Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.
