Technology,of course,is not the only factor.Education has also taught me moral knowledge.Over the few thousand years,we have witnessed how Confucious (Kong Zi) and all his ideals on morality has helped us develop into more civilised beings.The foundation of a country"s progress does not lie in its technological advancements,but the moral quality of its people.Laws and moral values deeply rooted in its people bring about peace and stability to the country.Science and technology would only boost in a country that is stable.Similarly,the study of science and maths will not bring me anything without morality.With no moral values,I could misuse my knowledge,I might corrupt,I might destroy my country.Morality would direct me in the right path,and only then will my academic education come into good use.

As a citizen of China,the most important role that I must play is to love my country.When I love my country,I will have this passion to contribute.It does not matter how I contribute,whether I become a soldier and protect my country from threats,whether I help my country in technological advancements through studying science,or whether I make my country more stable by simply not stealing.I strongly believe that unity is strength.With 1.3 billion people all passionate about the country and contributing a little each,there is no doubt that harmony,peace and prosperity of the nation is just in our hands.

1.My Dream Future
I decided to be a middle teacher after college. There are many reasons contribute to this decision.
Firstly, when I was a little girl, I have been dreaming of being a teacher. It seemed so fascinate to me and I hope I can make my dream come true.
And, I like so much to be with middle school students. Most of the students at that age are full of youthful spirity and I am sure their passion would pass to me. I will retain all the zest of adolescence.
The most important reason is that our country needs plenty of teachers. So far, teaching is considered a tough and low-income job in China. However, if we have not enough teachers, our future will lack of excellent scientist, managers, businessmen, soldiers and even goood workers and farmers. How can our country to be strong and wealthy?I wish my country to be a better one. I am ready to be a teacher and hope all the persons with lofty ideals may dedicate themselves to this meaningful career.

My ambition is to be a professor. I hope to be a famous professor. Why? So I will have too many students. I would be nice to my students. I would make them do homework on Sunday! Honorable judges,distinguished guests,ladies and gentlemen:
It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.
About a year and a half ago,I took part in my very first English Speech Contest.When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me,I could hardly speak.I stood there,embarrassed and helpless,struggling in vain for the right thing to say.My fears had paralyzed me.
While my passion for English has never changed,I lost my courage to speak in public.When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition,I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience.He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart.I will never forget his words.“Look,” he said,“We all have our fears,and you have yours.You could twist your ankle in a basketball game,but then be afraid to ever play again.Running away can never dispel your fears,but action will.A winner is not one who never fails,but one who never quits.”
I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind.Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life:I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!
As it turned out,my dear old professor was right.Now,here I am,once again standing before a microphone.My heart is beating fast,and my mouth is dry,but most importantly,I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

before going to starbeer i expected that most of my classmates would be on the party, for it was our professor"s invitation, but as it turned out, there were only 7 seven students including me. maybe others have something more important to do, because today is parents" day in korea and they may choose to go back home to get together with there parents. oh, i start missing my mom and dad a little~
but there was at least one advantage in this situation---we could have a more comfortable conversation. i think my classmates are really fluent in english, some have been aborad, some are juniors or seniors. they could keep talking all the time freely, that i envied them so much. and two of them had learned German in high school, so they tried to speak German with Mr. dirk. i found it funny to listen to that.
we then talked about korean customs and how to be polite towards elder people. my korean classmates explained to Mr. dirk, togzhan and me that it is a habit to ask others" ages when you first meet. we checked ours also, and i was quite happy to be the youngest~ ~ being young always means that you still have many chances ahead waiting for you. you getta try everything new and different from your own, and gain some experience to make a more meaningful life. haha, youth with vigour and passion and prospects!

Have you ever wordered why we read?
The answer is simply to seek for knowledge, for entertainment, to understanding and to improve our sense of well-being through the choice of materials available for us to read from. I love reading very much and I would like to share my passion with you.
Reading materials are well organised into catorgries and types. For example, new papers allow you to keep track with current event, magazines to entertain and read about hobbie related topic, and novels to bring you into a new advanture. In fact, we become subconciously to reading and is constantly reading different things surrounding us, such as notices,posters, road signs and even printed words on vehicals and shirts.
As for a student, reading is a crucial way to study for better grades. It will also bring people together and improves our well-beings. I am surround by people who like to read and we oftern exchange books and share our after thoughts about the books.
Reading will take you into a whole new realm full of imagination, creativity and advantures. We read to gain knowledge, to relax, to share and to becme part of the community. I love reading.
