"The Count of Monte Cristo" Movie Review
（基督山伯爵－－电影观后感）
Imprisoned for a crime he didn"t commit, torn away from his family and his fiancée, Edmund spends 15 years locked away in a damp prison, most of which is spent learning fighting and survival skills from a wizened old criminal, played with gentle humor by Richard Harris. Meanwhile, Fernand and Mercedes marry (that always happens in romance novels) despite the fact that she never got over her love of Edmund. The plot thickens with Edmund"s escape from prison and his secret reemergence as the dashing, and wealthy, Count of Monte Cristo.
The fight scenes are amazingly fluid, swordplay seeming to come naturally to both Guy Pearce and Jim Caviezel. The film also features a humorous performance from the talented Luis Guzman as a man devoted to the Count/Edmund. While some of the lines used in both the prison scenes and the "buddy" scenes between Guzman and Caviezel are a bit unbelievable (there occasionally seems to be a tad too much of the new millennium in the way they speak), most of the scenes are true to the times and the scenery and sets are authentically breathtaking.

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. It"s not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon"s door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman"s face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I"m not. But I"m glad I finally found it, because it"s a wonderful film in so many other ways.

The Princess Diaries is a very cute,heartwarming and postivie and uplifting movie.i loved watching it over and over again-it"s very uplifting.It is a very postive movie-which there isn"t a lot of in today"s world.There is a good reason why this movie is so good-because it"s funny and classic and a good movie about a young girl who finds herself.The plot is this:it"s about a dorky girl named Mia who deals with highs school and the mean girls and cliques at her school and is also very shy.She finds out one day from her regal grandmother that she is a princess of a small Euorpean country.This makes her sort of fearful and she doesn"t want to be a princess anyway since she can"t lead anything not in camp fire girls or Brownies or anything.She is afraid,and runs off.Her grandmother goes after her and convinces her she should do it.She agrees,and she gets princess lessons from her royal grandmother.She transforms and becomes cool and proper and beautiful.She becomes the queen at the end and decides to take the throne.I hate Julie Andrews though-she stinks.I hate "Marry Poppins" and I can"t stand the woman.I love Anne Hathaway-she is beautiful and amazing to watch.This is actually a cute and funny movie.

I am very sorry that i didn`t write my blog in time.
I watched Hachiko:A Dog’s Story days ago,eyes filling with tear.It’s really a fantasticly moving film.The plot went as:A college professor (Richard Gere) took in an abandoned dog and they formed an unbreakable bond.The dog arrived daily at the correct time at the station,to meet his owner.After the professor died while away from home,the dog kept vigil waiting for his master for nearly a decade.
To wait for your love for a decade,which contains almost the whole lifetime of Hachi,it’s an incredible dedication that we human beings never has.This is why the film strikes us a lot.No one has the ability to show his love to only one person during his whole life,let alone make friends with only one people; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without complaining and conciousness of exhaustion.We can’t!However,what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved.
A detail in the movie catches my eyes.One day when professor was on his way to school,Hachi fetched the tennis ball as he was taught years ago.But during the last several years,he never did like that,because to fetch a ball in this way is not his instinct.Why Hachi did so?He wants to entertain his master for more palatable food,for a hug?I’m afraid not.
Research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in human’s potantial deseases than us do.Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master is going to die because of his heart desease.It’s his only way to hold him back.
Hachi has been waiting in the weeds,waiting for his only fellow to walk him home.His hope has been floating in the breeze,carrying his loneliness and misery all above the ground.Maybe professor knows,but he could never come back.
