Unit2 Ways to go to school

A Let’s talk

一、教学目标

1.能够正确听说朗读“How do you come to school?”询问别人的出行方式,并能够用句子“I come by„进行回答。

2.能够听懂,会说,会表演Let’s talk的内容,并在真实场景中交流和运用。

3.能够了解并能说出选择出行方式的原因,借助原有文本理解重构文本。

4.培养良好的语音、语调和语感。

二、教学重点和难点

重点:学习句子How do you come to school?I usually/sometimes/often come on foot/ by bike/ by bus…

难点:理解重构文本并能提取文本中的重要信息。

三、教学准备:多媒体课件 单词卡片

四、教学步骤和建议:

(一)Warm up

1.Let’s chant

2.复习Let’s learn词组.

(二)Presentation

1.main scene学习

(1)提出问题:How many people are there ? Who are they? What are

they talking about.

(2)学生听录音,并回答老师的问题。

(3)提出问题:How do Amy, Mike and Mrs Smith come to school?

(4)呈现文本,学生在理解对话内容的基础上回答,老师同时根据学生的回答板书。

2. 再构文本的学习 板书why?

(1)Read Amy’s diary, and then answer the questions.

(2) Read Mrs Smith’s diary, and then answer the questions.

(三)Practice

(1)听录音,跟读Let’s talk内容,注意纠正学生的发音

(2)请学生根据板书的提示重述对话,第一遍齐读,第二遍分角色重述。

T: According to the information on the blackboard, try to retell the dialogue. OK?

注意语音语调

(3) Read and tick or cross

(四)Progress

(1)Do a survey.

学生以小组问答并记录在书上,(组员如何来上学或者去某地 How? 为什么Why?) 教师请小组代表汇报调查结果。

难点:subway 的发音和拼读。

(1)教师接上一环节:My home is far from our school. So I often go to school by bus.(板书)Do you go to school by bus?

(2)PPT出现图片和火车声音学生猜是什么,学习by train.

(3)通过描述It’s a kind of train .It’s under the ground. It runs fast.What’s this?学习by subway.

(4)I live in the sea. I can swim very fast. But I’m not a fish.I’m a traffic tool.Please tell me“What am I?”.学习by ship

(5)In summer vacation,Zoom and Zip wants to go to the USA, how do they get to there ?学习:by plane.

教师放A部分Let's learn的录音,学生跟读。

3、Pair work

创设情境:如果今天是周末,你和你的伙伴计划一下,如何度过你们的周末。模仿Mrs Smith 和John 的对话,讨论一下你们的计划。

4、Write and say.

教师问答学生How do you get to school from home?PPT 出示图片帮助学生理解from home。有此句过渡到How do you get to the USA from China?学生看书两人一组进行问答并写出出发地和目的地连线合适的交通工具。

(四) Homework :学生背诵并抄写本课时的四会单词。

(2)学生仔细观察图片,展开合理想象并回答老师的问题。

(3)听录音,模仿朗读,理解对话内容。

a指明朗读对话,并翻译主要句子的中文意思,掌握单词、句子的读法。

b.教师领读对话,学生模仿,齐读练习,生生对话,小组表演。

c.告诉学生应该遵守交通规则,红灯停,绿灯行。

(1)T:Today I come to school by bus.I usually come to school on foot.What about you?Do you come by bike or by bus?Do you come on foot or by car?How does Amy come to school?Let’s watch a video.

(2)How many people are there ?Who are they?

Yes, Mike,Amy,and Mrs Smith .教师指着图介绍This is Mrs Smith.(引导学生回答问题引出Mrs 学习)

(3)教师继续介绍说:Today Mike and Amy were early to school.They met Mrs Smith at school.板书:early并学习。

(4)Listen to the tape.

Answer questions: How does Amy come to school?How does Mike come to school?

(5)快速反应游戏:教师说出某个短语,让学生做相应的动作并说出句子

(6)听录音,跟读Let’s talk内容,注意纠正学生的发音

(7)同桌表演对话,培养学生学习语言,运用语言交流的能力,同事培养合作意识。根据原对话进行创编及完成探究学习中的题目。

第三课时 B let’s learn & Role play

一、教学目标

1.能够正确听说,朗读Stop and wait at a red light.Slow down and stop at a yellow light.Go at a green light.并能在实际情景中运用。

2.能够正确听说,认读单词,如slow down,stop,wait。

3.了解一些简单的交通标志,增强学生的交通意识。

二、教学重难点

1.重点:能够正确听说,认读单词,如slow down,stop,wait。

2.难点:Stop and wait at a red light.Slow down and stop at a yellow light.Go at a green light.并能在实际情景中运用。

三、教学准备:多媒体课件,单词图片。

四、教学过程:

(一)Warm-up

1.Greeting

2.Let’s chant “How do you come to school?”两遍

3.Free talk

T:Good morning!How do you come to school?复习如何询问别人出行方式句型。学生可根据实际情况进行回答。教师由对话总结引出

T:Some students come to school by bike,some students come to school on foot.When you come to school,what must you remember?引出交通规则。

(二)Presentation

1.Let’s learn

(1)再次总结交通规则。

T:大家听一听MIKE有哪些地方做的不对,他应该怎么做呢?

(2)由traffic lights 引出There are red ,yellow and green.Red means stop,green means go,yellow means wait.

(3)教师板书新单词,用肢体语言解释做slow down,wait,stop,go的动作。

(4)学生跟读,开火车读,检查读,同时做出相应的动作。

(5)出示每一种交通灯,把单词放到句子中,教师用英语解释并配有动作,用英语来解释刚才听力中Mike的错误,引出新知:

Stop and wait at a red light.Slow down and stop at a yellow light.Go at a green light.

(6)再放一次录音,学生跟读。

(7)活动:小交警

活动方式:就哦啊是发出“Stop and wait”的指令时,学生要举起红灯并重复指令。举措的学生则被判出局,坚持到最后的获胜。

(8)Practice in pairs。同桌之间进行操练,其中一人任意举起一个交通灯,另一个学生做出相应的动作,并说出该交通规则。

2.Role play

四个同学一组,老师给同学们发一个交警帽和三盏交通灯,让一位学生扮演交警,指挥交通,其他同学根据所示的灯做出动作并说出相应的句子,对表现好的学生进行奖励。

轮流几回合后,总结规则,完成探究学习第二题。

3.Summary:what have you learned today ?并进行情感教育,PPT出示一些交通事故的图片,珍爱生命,遵守交通规则。
