一、概述
本课是冀教版第五册第一单元的第一课。本单元的话题是保持健康。本课是一个长篇对话,讲的是Danny晚饭后甜点吃了10个面包圈,导致胃疼,凌晨三点钟叫醒父母,父亲迅速穿衣带他去医院看医生的故事,对话分两个场景——家里和医院,通过本课学习使学生掌握看医生的用语。{lesson,1,,what's,wrong}.
九年级的学生具有一定的英语学习基础,对英语有较强的兴趣,有较好的语言交际技能,思维活跃,有表现欲。他们在七八年级时就已经学了一些就医用语,如:What’s wrong with you? I have a headache. My stomach hurts.等,再学本课应该比较容易。
我讲课时运用了网上的教学资源和教参附带的教学光盘,先用一首flash歌曲热身,活跃课堂气氛,复习身体部位,顺着歌里的那个Poor boy讨论Think About It中的When you don’t feel well, what do you usually do?。接着设计了一个非常简单的听力问题What’s wrong with Danny?让学生由易入手进入本课学习,然后快速读课文,找出问题答案,了解对话大意,再利用PPT教授生词和短语。通过观看一段光盘中的视频,激发学生的兴趣,再进行对话角色扮演,归纳总结就医用语,然后利用PPT图片提供的情境编对话,对本课所学语言进行活用、提升,最后再做一篇听力练习,让学生张弛有度,轻松完成本课学习任务。{lesson,1,,what's,wrong}.
二、教学目标
1.知识与技能
(1)掌握词汇及短语:stomach, regret doing, have a fever, pale, examination,
pardon, take an X-ray。
(2)能够运用所学知识就看医生的话题进行对话,训练学生听说读写的技能。

六、教学过程
Class opening
T: Good morning, class. Would you like to listen to a song? The song I will play is very easy. You can sing along with it and point to your body parts.
用一首英语歌曲活跃课堂气氛,让学生在欣赏歌曲的同时,复习身体部位的单词和就医用语。(Doctor, Doctor) (歌曲用时2分钟)

Step 1:Reading
T: Yes, his stomach hurts. But do you know why? OK. Read the dialogue quickly and try to find the answers of the four questions. (出示问题Let’s Do It Ex.1)
学生快速默读课文,找出问题答案。
Step 2: Vocabulary
T: Danny is ill. He has got a pain in his stomach. He also has a fever. He looks pale. He regrets eating so many donuts. His father gets dressed quickly to drive him to the hospital. Danny needs to have an examination and take an X-ray. Pardon me. Did I speak a little fast? “pardon” is another new word for this lesson.

Step 3: Listening and reading

Step 4: Role-play
T: Now, class. We can divide the whole dialogue into two sections------at home and in the hospital. Focus on Section 2. Let’s role-play. Get into groups of four. Each group member will take one role. You may use your imagination to create. OK, practice.
学生四人一组分角色练习对话,重点是在医院的场景,学生可以创新,然后呈现出来。
Step 5: Summary
T: When you see a doctor, what may the doctor ask? What may you answer? And the doctor may say….
