澳大利亚移民监
澳大利亚的条件比较明确,要成为澳洲公民条件必须在5年内住满2年,如果不能够满足,必须满足下列的2个条件之一才可以保留移民身份：
1、证明你和澳大利亚有必要的经济、文化、雇佣联系,并且该联系对澳洲有益；
2、家庭成员有一人持有有效的回头签证.而成为公民,则必须满足居住要求.
另外据澳洲移民局的最新消息称,澳洲新移民从明年起要入籍的话可能要坐移民监四年,而且在申请之前的一年,不准离境逾3个月.这是今年9月份澳洲副移民部长罗比在墨尔本主持人籍仪式时提出来的,目前已交由国会审议.澳大利亚入籍居住年限的增加为国人移民澳洲又增设了新的难题,特别是对于一些时间有限的成功人士来说要达到这个入籍要求恐怕是难上加难,因此如果想移民澳洲的话恐怕得要有长期坐移民监的心理准备.
澳大利亚8种情况可以免坐移民监
大多数情况下,申请人必须身在澳大利亚,并在提出入籍申请之前以永久居民身份在过去5年内在澳大利亚累积住满2年,其中包括在申请入籍前的2年内累积住满12个月,唯个别特殊情况或可获豁免此居住要求,其中包括：
1、澳大利亚国防部队服役者：曾在澳大利亚国防部队服役至少3个月以上,或曾在澳大利亚国防部队服役3个月后由于健康原因退役者,将无须满足居住要求.
2、在澳洲预备役部队服役：如果你曾在澳洲预备役部队服役至少6个月,或者少于6个月而因健康理由被迫退役,你也可以免除居澳期要求.
3、前澳大利亚公民或在澳大利亚出生者：曾是澳大利亚公民或出生在澳大利亚境内者,只需在申请入籍前的2年内以永久居民身份在澳大利亚累积住满12个月即可；但对于前澳大利亚公民来说,就要在其失去公民身份之时的一年后,才能重新获得公民身份.
4、澳大利亚公民的配偶、孀妇或鳏夫：澳大利亚公民的法定配偶(不适用于同居关系)、孀妇或鳏夫将可获豁免居住要求；但在递交入籍申请前,申请人必须已成为澳大利亚永久居民连续12个月或以上,并能证明若不获得澳籍将遭受特别困难或不便；另如其澳籍配偶已满足英语要求和了解澳大利亚公民权利与义务要求,申请人将可同时获豁免此两项要求.
5、居住在澳大利亚境外却同时从事有利于澳大利亚的活动者：在递交入籍申请前的5年中,拥有永久居民身份却没有在澳大利亚境内居住,但从事了有利于澳大利亚的活动,有可能等同在澳大利亚居住；如果申请人认为其情况适用于此项豁免,须在其入籍申请中附上一份说明,此说明应明确解释出为什么没有在澳大利亚居住、与澳大利亚存在何种联系(家庭、财政、商务等)、离开澳大利亚的确切时段以及为澳大利亚做出贡献的时段、具体做了什么并解释所从事的工作为何有利于澳大利亚,还需要提供一封由海外雇主或权威人士出示的推荐信,这封信要证明您参与的海外活动对澳大利亚的价值.
6、递交申请5年期限前的居住者：在递交入籍申请5年期限前的任何一段时间内以永久居民身份在澳大利亚居住,其早期居住将被计算,从而满足5年内累积住满2年的居住要求；但这并不能满足递交申请前2年内累积住满12个月的要求,此豁免一般只适用于若不获澳籍将遭受特别困难或不便者.
7、澳大利亚临时居民：在递交入籍申请前5年内,以澳大利亚临时居民身份在澳大利亚合法居住或能满足居住要求,要计算这段时间,需要证明申请人若不获澳籍将遭受特别困难或不便；此豁免一般只适用于以下情况：申请人递交入籍申请以前,已成为澳大利亚永久居民连续12个月或以上,并且在此之前以临时居民身份在澳大利亚合法居住一段相当时间；以非法居民身份在澳大利亚居住的时间不算.
