Competition and Cooperation
Competition is common in every field of life.For example,the Olympic Games is the most famous competition in the world.In the four hundred meter swimming race,the swimmers plunge into the water at the signal.Each swings his or her arms and legs and tries his or her best to be the first.Also there is the competition for jobs,for promotion,for customers,and so on.We can say,in a certain sense,competition stimulates people"s interest in work and helps society to go forword.
We often find that competition goes hand in trend with cooperation.Take,for example,a volley ball match.The members of the team cooperate with each other.One serves the ball,Then another passes the ball to a certain height for a still other to hit it over the net while the other members try to block it on its return.It requires good tearn work to win the game.
While we advocate competition,we cannot forget cooperation.Human beings are social beings.No one can exist alone in the society.If you want to play the game well,you have to play with others.You cannot play single-handed and win.You have to cooperate with your playmates,who may make the social ladder for you to climb to the top.From cooperation we get mutual help and understanding.With cooperation the world is progressing at peace and in harmony.

比如说,当你把一封投稿信贴上邮票投入邮箱之后,你以后的一段日子就生活在期待之中.

随之而来的就是样刊（报）、稿费、约稿信如雪片般飞来.
——这就是希望,真真切切的希望.
又比如说,当你进入毕业班之后,你以后的一段时间就生活在期待之中.
期待着某一天,你在高考中取得了好成绩,怀揣着重点大学的录取通知书迈进大学的校门.
——这就是希望,实实在在的希望.
如果你一直生活在这样的希望当中,你的精神生活一定是充实的.
如果你一直生活在这样的希望当中,你的人生态度一定是积极的.
如果你一直生活在这样的希望当中,你的事业前程一定是美好的.
如果投稿后得到的只是石沉大海,或一纸退稿信；如果你在高考中失利；如果灾难在你落拓的时候雪上加霜,你又该如何对待呢?

The Summer Palace
This is a beautiful spot with exuberant wood and grass at the foot of the West Hill in the western outskirts of Beijing.From the Ming Dynasty on,many high－taste nobles built their private gardens in this place.In the Qing Dynasty perhaps because the Manchu aristocrats who had just left their forests and grassland had not accommodated themselves to the environment of the palaces,they built great imperial gardens there.The Summer Palace that has survived calamities in history is one of those architectural masterpieces.This is a marvellous conception of a paradise on the earth.The Long Corridor and the Seventeen Arch Bridge are like ribbons.They frame the Kunming Lake and turn it into a beautiful picture.With the Buddha Fragrance Chamber on the Longevity Hill as the highlight,the lake and mountains become a lively whole.
The West Hill and the pagoda on top of the Jade Spring Hill blot out the limit of the garden and fuse it into an open expense.
Spring in the Summer Palace is merrily colourful,the summer is leisurely exuberant,the autumn sentimentally bright and winter sober,tranquil and clean.
I think the Summer Palace is a great historic site in our country.

Hello,everybody and my teacher!I"m ChenSi.I am very glad to give you the lecture today.My titel is "This thing is important to me".
Now.there is a photo in my hand.You can see 5 people from it.They are my grandpa,my grandma,my mother,my father and of course the lovely girl is me!She was a little pupil at that time.That day was the Labour"s Day about 10 year ago.
I think my character was changed at my 16 years old.Because my grandpa passed away at that year and my parents were divorced from each other.I love my family very much especially my grandpa.He was a teacher who worked in a senior middle school.He spend all his life on teaching and he was respected and kindhearted.He taught me how to study,how to become adamance,how to become a good person and so on.He said that the life is nice if only I have a nice heart.I think he just like my sky!I miss him very much,very very much!
Now I live with my mother all the time,I haven"t seen my father for about 3 years.Befor,I hated him,but now I don"t.Because he is my dad.I love my mother,she has gave me all of her...At the mintime,we understand each other little by little.
Some days ago,my sister who was my aunty"s daughter called me.We haven"t seen each other for a long time.She said she was ill and haven"t worked for a week.Some years ago beacause of her self-will,she had to work without going into the senior middle school.So she felt ashamed to my grandpa.Hearing about that I wanted to cry.I did some things wrong before and I want to say sorry to all the people who love me.But I didn"t cry out at last,because I am her elder sister.I told her that yesterday has passed we should do our best for tomorrow!
I know I have a lot of things to do but now study and keep heathy.The photo is my most precious thing.When I see it my heart was powerful and the hope is rising...

When I was a little boy ,I had endless dream.
My dream like a wide lea ,which have too many dreams running together.
But ,I only have a dream now.What"s it It is become a computer engineer.
In many years ago ,I was a poor boy ,however ,I am positively face it.
I strive to save money.When I was a third grade primary school pupil.
How glad I can buy the computer in the end.
I am start it amusedly.It like my life door was opening.
At that time,computer was my best friend.
So,I decided I will be a computer engineer.
Now I set a project for myself that If I become a computer engineer ,I must raise to college.
If I want to raise to college ,I will learn more and more english.
everyone both have too many dreams .
But ,Do you make it clear that what is your objective?Yes ,I do
How about you?I really wish you also have it.
My Dream
When I was a naughty boy,may be because of the influence of the film."Xiao Bing Zhang Ga",my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga.I thought if I was a soldier,I should be able to swim,dive and climb trees as he did.It seemed to be very wonderful.So I began to learn swimming,diving and climbing trees.I practiced every day and finally I could do them well.But when I entered junior high school and had the military training.I suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and I wasn’t strong enough to bear it .I had to give my dream up.
But I wasn’t discouraged,and I had new aim,which was to be a postman,or rather to be a newspaper boy.As a newspaper boy.I could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto every porch.That’s also very cool.So I started learning to ride a bicycle.After the everyday practice,I could go very fast by bicycle.But to my disappointment,the job which I wanted only existed in western counties not in China,because there was no porch in China.And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes from very narrow entrances.The job was far from what I had expected.So once again my dream fell through.
Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams haven’t come true yet.But I think it doesn’t matter,because if you have a dream,you’ll make many efforts to realize it.This course is really important.If I hadn’t dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy.I wouldn’t have learned to swim,to dive,to climb trees or to ride a bicycle.Even if our dream can’t come true,you’ll learn much from the efforts you have made.So what I want to tell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives .It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful
